Marie Leiter is well known in the industry for providing clients with innovative, cost-effective solutions for their challenging business needs. With more than 14 years’ experience in increasingly responsible Human Resources Management positions, she offers a wealth of knowledge across the entire Human Resources spectrum: advisor, recruiting, employee relations, benefits/compensation, compliance (government contractor), performance management, training and policy development. Her ability to influence others by example, manage issues, and lead people is evident through her significant work experience and professional accomplishments.
Prior to becoming a consultant, Marie worked for Terma North America as Manager of Human Resources, the Center for Naval Analysis as Senior Manager of Employment and Employee Relations, and LEVICK Strategic Communications as Manager of Human Resources.
Additionally, Marie served as Director of Human Resources for Allied Technology Group (ATG), an $80M government contractor with 459 employees in Rockville, Maryland. At ATG, Marie established a Human Resources department to align infrastructure support to the growing business, centralized recruitment, managed a compensation plan design, implemented a HRIS for the organization, and led a five-person team. She also instituted policies and processes to maximize departmental and organization-wide efficiencies and to mitigate organization liability.
Marie received a Master of Science (MS) degree in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania, a Professional Human Resources (PHR) Management Certificate from Villanova University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Communication from Rosemont College.
