Karen Puleo has 30 years of human resource management experience serving a variety of industries including financial services, mortgage, technology, telecommunications, and government contracting.

During her tenure, she has served in senior leadership roles, overseeing HR departments for Fortune 500 companies. She has extensive management experience in employee relations, human resources information systems, benefits administration, meeting planning and coordination, compensation, training, payroll, compliance, mergers and acquisitions, HR policies and procedures, recruiting and strategic planning.

Additionally, Karen serves on the board of Step Sisters, a nonprofit organization that supports women impacted by breast cancer. As a breast cancer survivor herself, she has devoted much of her free time to being a mentor to cancer patients in their recovery journey. Her story was featured in Posh Seven magazine.

Karen’s professional credentials include holding a BS in management and organizational behavior from Rider University; being a member of the Society of Human Resource Management; being licensed from the Commonwealth of Virginia Life and Health Insurance and Annuities Contracts; and being certified by Zenger-Miller.
